Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anthoon Vandamme took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kuurne's goalkeeper Claude Degraef, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octaaf De Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthoon Vandamme in the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Lukas Rockeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kuurne's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Rockeloos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octaaf De Ridder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, FC Kuurne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter De Raeijmaeker to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Baki Baki's Octaaf De Ridder got control of the ball when Lukas Rockeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Baki Baki's Octaaf De Ridder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Baki Baki from getting a goal against them. Lukas Rockeloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octaaf De Ridder having to interfere. FC Baki Baki's Octaaf De Ridder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthoon Vandamme in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Anthoon Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octaaf De Ridder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthoon Vandamme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octaaf De Ridder having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baki Baki's zone, Lukas Rockeloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octaaf De Ridder came out of the goal and Lukas Rockeloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claude Degraef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Van Lier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, FC Baki Baki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Van Herendael to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, FC Baki Baki's goal looked a bit too open when Anthoon Vandamme came free, but Octaaf De Ridder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ritchie Van Herendael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Degraef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Baki Baki's Waut Van Elsen got a free kick in the 41st minute. FC Kuurne were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after FC Baki Baki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Gobelijns took the corner. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waut Van Elsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Lukas Rockeloos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baki Baki's zone, Lukas Rockeloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octaaf De Ridder came out of the goal and Lukas Rockeloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Lukas Rockeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kuurne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Rockeloos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Gobelijns struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Octaaf De Ridder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kuurne. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Van Lier during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brian Van Lier kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Lukas Rockeloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octaaf De Ridder having to interfere. A throw-in in the 97th minute of the game was made by Mathis Caspers with Brian Van Lier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
