Gaetan Huijbreghts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruly's Joseph Neels got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 史浩远 in the 17th minute of play forced Malempre AFC's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bruly fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Bruly's Joseph Neels looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cederik Van Den Bosch hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34th play minutes Joseph Neels shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gaetan Huijbreghts and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Neels in the 37th minute of play forced Malempre AFC's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Malempre AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Neels came free, but Gaetan Huijbreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Bruly were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joseph Neels might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaetan Huijbreghts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Neels ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, Luckas Cromefeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malempre AFC the free kick. Bruly made a substitution. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck replaced Joseph Neels. In the 56th minute, Luckas Cromefeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brend Schrevens hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gaetan Huijbreghts made a huge save. Gaetan Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 67th minute of the match. Brend Schrevens came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaetan Huijbreghts could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaetan Huijbreghts was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph De Vreese came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruly's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willy Van Linthout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph De Vreese, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gaetan Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Thys Mangelschot hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Van Hoght during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Malempre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Van Hoght to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts. Gaetan Huijbreghts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
