In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Bart-Jan Van De Beeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Tom Rits had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthew Gijselinckx. Matthew Gijselinckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 34 minutes into the game, Thibau Robin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Matthew Gijselinckx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes of play, Royal Antwerp FC's Tom Rits made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthew Gijselinckx was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Tom Rits notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of FC Zacząć od nowa's Matthew Gijselinckx. Matthew Gijselinckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC Zacząć od nowa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Royal Antwerp FC were winning 0-9.

After 50 played minutes FC Zacząć od nowa got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn De Witte. Royal Antwerp FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pawel Pryputnicki in the 53rd minute. Matthew Gijselinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Rits in the 72nd minute of the match. Maarten Vissenaeken charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maarten Vissenaeken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes FC Zacząć od nowa got a freekick which was hit by Maarten Vissenaeken. Thibau Robin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Matthew Gijselinckx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thibau Robin scored 0-14 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthew Gijselinckx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Constantijn Ruelens notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of FC Zacząć od nowa's Matthew Gijselinckx. Matthew Gijselinckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes FC Zacząć od nowa got a freekick which was hit by Robbrecht Van Boeckost. Matthew Gijselinckx came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Antwerp FC's Tom Rits. But to his dismay, Tom Rits quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. FC Zacząć od nowa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Tom Rits scored to the left of an out of position Matthew Gijselinckx, making the score, 0-17. The FC Zacząć od nowa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Royal Antwerp FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
