In the 3rd minute, Sean Mallecots left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Schautens in the 7th minute of play forced URSL Visé's goalkeeper Steven Van hoeijveld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, URSL Visé's Kenny Huvenaerts got a free kick in the 11th minute. Steven Van hoeijveld came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Invictus FC's Rafet Şikel. But to his dismay, Rafet Şikel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The corner ended in Rafet Şikel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but URSL Visé's Steven Van hoeijveld did a great save. Invictus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafet Şikel in the 18th minute. Alan De Raedemaeker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddy Stoorms having to make a save. If Sean Mallecots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steven Van hoeijveld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harrie Steenbeeck charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harrie Steenbeeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, URSL Visé's Harrie Steenbeeck got a free kick in the 28th minute. Harrie Steenbeeck hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Steven Van hoeijveld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Mallecots, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Hendrickx. In the 42nd minute, Thobias De Raedemaecker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddy Stoorms. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half Invictus FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sean Mallecots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. URSL Visé's Steven Van hoeijveld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 51st minute of play. Steven Van hoeijveld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octaaf Van der Meiren in the 59th minute of play. Eddy Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Lievens in the 61st minute of play. Sean Mallecots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxwell van Beek to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thobias De Raedemaecker in the 68th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes URSL Visé got a freekick which was hit by Jurgen De Ryck. Octaaf Van der Meiren charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octaaf Van der Meiren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Octaaf Van der Meiren hit a great ball. URSL Visé's Steven Van hoeijveld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 83 minutes into the game, Thobias De Raedemaecker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Eddy Stoorms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Sean Mallecots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steven Van hoeijveld was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 91 minutes into the match, URSL Visé's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Steven Van hoeijveld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steven Van hoeijveld came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots. But to his dismay, Sean Mallecots quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5.
