Gaetan Huijbreghts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gaetan Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Başar in the 12th minute of play. If Marcelo Gay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaetan Huijbreghts was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Malempre AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Başar came free, but Gaetan Huijbreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Kartal Başar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gaetan Huijbreghts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Malempre AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Twierdza Osowiec were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph De Vreese was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Kartal Başar notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts. Gaetan Huijbreghts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaetan Huijbreghts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kartal Başar's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Kartal Başar scored 0-9 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaetan Huijbreghts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kartal Başar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaetan Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Başar in the 65th minute of the match. Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartal Başar in the 75th minute of play. Kartal Başar took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaetan Huijbreghts. Gaetan Huijbreghts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. A collision led to Malempre AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Olivier Lanckneus hit a great ball. If Kartal Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaetan Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Başar in the 83rd minute of play. After 87th play minutes Kartal Başar shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Gaetan Huijbreghts and just under the crossbar into goal. Kartal Başar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Twierdza Osowiec got a corner. Malempre AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaap Stam ran over to the corner to take the kick. Twierdza Osowiec's Jaap Stam was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaetan Huijbreghts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Twierdza Osowiec's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
