In the 6th minute, Jeroen Weygaers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steven Van hoeijveld was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to URSL Visé getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Robrecht Raaymakers hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, URSL Visé's Jurgen De Ryck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stein Spoelberch. Stein Spoelberch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Pieter Van Landewijck took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steven Van hoeijveld. Steven Van hoeijveld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Steven Van hoeijveld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Weygaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeroen Weygaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Steven Van hoeijveld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Wynant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Van hoeijveld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeroen Weygaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to URSL Visé getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alan De Raedemaeker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeroen Weygaers in the 40th minute of play forced URSL Visé's goalkeeper Steven Van hoeijveld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Brugge were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after URSL Visé's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 卓迪耀 took the corner. 45 minutes into the game, King Eken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Steven Van hoeijveld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert-Jan Schroons to maneuver through the defense. URSL Visé's Thobias De Raedemaecker got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steven Van hoeijveld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Nelleboedske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind URSL Visé's goalkeeper Steven Van hoeijveld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. King Ekens short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Steven Van hoeijveld to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steven Van hoeijveld came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's King Eken. But to his dismay, King Eken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Stein Spoelberch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen De Ryck, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Club Brugge's Jan-Simon Elsen was substituted for King Eken. In the 82nd minute, Cyryl Lipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nicolas Wynant managed to get in a good position for a shot. URSL Visé's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Wynant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stein Spoelberch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen De Ryck in the 86th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, URSL Visé's goalkeeper Steven Van hoeijveld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Van Landewijck. With a little luck, URSL Visé's Steven Van hoeijveld got control of the ball when Jan-Simon Elsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Brugge's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
