Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Joseph De Vreese made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th match minute, Malempre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Van Hoght to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Gressens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaetan Huijbreghts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Phillipe Soetemans fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruly's protests and gave Phillipe Soetemans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Wesley Gressens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruly's Paul Fiedler shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaetan Huijbreghts but with some difficulty. In the 24th minute, Malempre AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jullian Vranx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Jullian Vranx notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts. Gaetan Huijbreghts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jullian Vranx got free with Gaetan Huijbreghts in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th play minute Paul Fiedler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaetan Huijbreghts. 4-0. In the 37th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thys Mangelschot to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Malempre AFC's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijbreghts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jullian Vranx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Malempre AFC booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thys Mangelschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Olemans during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malempre AFC's Carl Olemans got a free kick in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the game, one of Malempre AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaetan Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jullian Vranx in the 70th minute of the match. Phillipe Soetemans was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72nd minute, Phillipe Soetemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malempre AFC's Gaetan Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luckas Cromefeldt in the 77th minute of play. Thys Mangelschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaetan Huijbreghts having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Paul Fiedler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Fiedler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Fiedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Malempre AFC's Angelo Depelsmaker got a free kick in the 91st minute. Alek Thys kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Malempre AFC's Joseph De Vreese shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Willy Van Linthout but with some difficulty. Bruly's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
