Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Royal Antwerp FC's Jacob de Pelsmaeker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Jacob de Pelsmaeker could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Ricardo Hendrickx however easily saved by the left post. When Kartal Başar came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Twierdza Osowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kartal Başar couldn't finish the play. Kartal Başar scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacob de Pelsmaeker. In the 11th minute of the match, Jacob de Pelsmaeker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricardo Hendrickx was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kartal Başar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Damman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Twierdza Osowiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willem-Jan Verhaert was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal Antwerp FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Royal Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Martial Horemans hit a great ball. Bertan Musseeuw made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Reinaud Vrijdag however managed to control. In the 38th minute, Kartal Başar made a precise shot to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Royal Antwerp FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertan Musseeuw during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp FC's Bertan Musseeuw got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Ediz Türk hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Ruelens in the 57th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantijn Ruelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Hendrickx having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Bertan Musseeuw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kartal Başar might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kartal Başar ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kartal Başar in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart-Jan Van De Beeck saved Royal Antwerp FC from getting behind. Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Royal Antwerp FC's Jacob de Pelsmaeker in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Twierdza Osowiec's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Kartal Başar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Royal Antwerp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kartal Başar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp FC's zone, Joško Van Landschoot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck came out of the goal and Joško Van Landschoot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp FC's Fabien Pineurs got a free kick in the 85th minute. Joško Van Landschoot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Van Landschoot came free, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joško Van Landschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, Twierdza Osowiec's Joško Van Landschoot made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Twierdza Osowiec's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
