The Everett Hawks's Fre van Eijnde quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Jérémy Doku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludo Vanden Bossche was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in The Everett Hawks's zone, Jérémy Doku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ball Packert firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Jan Grootjans in the 31st minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Ball Packert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Willem-Jan Grootjans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ball Packert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Doku in the 35th minute of play. Jérémy Doku kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ulan Bator Football Club's Jérémy Doku. But to his dismay, Jérémy Doku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Kieth Hacke in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Everett Hawks's Fre van Eijnde. Willy Smidts hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jérémy Doku was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattheo Smeulders. In the 55th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans made a precise shot to the right of Ball Packert. Ulan Bator Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
