Hudson Costa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Oyedeji Rau sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gabríel Vassaras put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hudson Costa. After some careless play in the GentFC defense, Fox 鲁迅 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Costa. The GentFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Costa should have stopped the shot. Gabríel Vassaras got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 5-0 in the right cross in the 26th match minute before Hudson Costa had time to react. Gabríel Vassaras did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Hudson Costa 29 minutes into the match. Hudson Costa made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Fox 鲁迅 sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, GentFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederic Stercks to maneuver through the defense. If Gabríel Vassaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabríel Vassaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Hudson Costa made a huge save. Vc Brye's Gabríel Vassaras was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 41st play minutes Gabríel Vassaras shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Hudson Costa and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, GentFC's Hudson Costa got control of the ball when Fox 鲁迅 tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brent-Jan Van de cauter was the one to do the kick off. Gabríel Vassaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson Costa having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Gabríel Vassaras notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of GentFC's Hudson Costa. Hudson Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Vc Brye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert De nuijter to maneuver through the defense. If Gabríel Vassaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fox 鲁迅 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Gabríel Vassaras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vc Brye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Vassaras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Gabríel Vassaras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Hudson Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vc Brye's Ştefan Stoica was substituted for Fox 鲁迅. Vc Brye made a substitution. Christiaan Poortmans replaced Bart-Jan Ablij. Gabríel Vassaras might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hudson Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabríel Vassaras ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind GentFC's goalkeeper Hudson Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Gabríel Vassaras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson Costa. GentFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabríel Vassaras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. When Gabríel Vassaras came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vc Brye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabríel Vassaras couldn't finish the play. The supporters of GentFC booed when Vc Brye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Ciemiega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hudson Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabríel Vassaras went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, GentFC's goal looked a bit too open when Oyedeji Rau came free, but Hudson Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
