Cedrik Neesens charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cedrik Neesens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Young Ostend United's Cedrik Neesens got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Brend Vanden Driessche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Loid Gijsbrechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Fredrik Terwenhout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loid Gijsbrechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Young Ostend United's Loid Gijsbrechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brend Vanden Driessche got free with Loid Gijsbrechts in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loid Gijsbrechts came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Joris De Raeve. But to his dismay, Joris De Raeve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Loid Gijsbrechts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Loid Gijsbrechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Loid Gijsbrechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brend Vanden Driessche in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Aleandro Nesta got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcus Roggen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Young Ostend United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Loid Gijsbrechts, was totally fooled by Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Terwenhout to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Joris De Raeve notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Young Ostend United's Loid Gijsbrechts. Loid Gijsbrechts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Johnny Van Hoeyvelt fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Young Ostend United's protests and gave Johnny Van Hoeyvelt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Young Ostend United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Limburg United's Emanuel Coekelbergh in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Joeri Devaux fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Young Ostend United's protests and gave Joeri Devaux a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by Joeri Devaux. After having played for 69 minutes, Fredrik Terwenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Terwenhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Joris De Raeve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Loid Gijsbrechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcus Roggen hit a great ball. In the game's 74th minute Limburg United's Fabian Orellana took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Loid Gijsbrechts and thus the score was 8-0. Joris De Raeve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loid Gijsbrechts having to interfere. Loid Gijsbrechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Brend Vanden Driessche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loid Gijsbrechts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Paulus Vervaet's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulus Vervaet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Young Ostend United's Paulus Vervaet got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Loid Gijsbrechts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrik Terwenhout went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Loid Gijsbrechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
