The long shot by Joos Van den Haute in the 16th minute really tested Iustinian Babarada's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 17 minutes, 李超钢 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Salonsupporters and the Tongeren FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes De Salonsupporters got a freekick which was hit by 李超钢. In the 23rd minute Luukas Van Gysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Neys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tongeren FC's zone, Urbano Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustinian Babarada came out of the goal and Urbano Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Vincent Temmerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tongeren FC and the De Salonsupporters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Vincent Temmerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iustinian Babarada was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geoffrey Ketelers. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 李超钢 to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimitry Van Cruchten charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitry Van Cruchten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tongeren FC's Iustinian Babarada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Tximitx in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
