Spectators: 8269 (Terracing: 6329, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 0) Gertjan Lanphan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute Anton Ahlroht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volodymyr Zelenskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Lichten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Van Leempten to maneuver through the defense. Volodymyr Zelenskiy made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aureliusz Bienienda sent off a good shot on target. The Szuperbeton fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Szuperbeton's Gertjan Lanphan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aureliusz Bienienda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Volodymyr Zelenskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilídio Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Lanphan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Didier Colpaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilídio Malafaia. Lichten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didier Colpaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Szuperbeton booed when Lichten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Rijmenams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andries Rompen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Bienienda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Volodymyr Zelenskiy, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Ahlroht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gertjan Lanphan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ilídio Malafaia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ilídio Malafaia made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gertjan Lanphan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lichten's Aureliusz Bienienda got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gertjan Lanphan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ilídio Malafaia made a huge save. Ilídio Malafaia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gertjan Lanphan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Ilídio Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gertjan Lanphan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robben Demeulemeester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Volodymyr Zelenskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ahlroht in the 67th minute of the match. Volodymyr Zelenskiy came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lichten's Anton Ahlroht. But to his dismay, Anton Ahlroht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 71 minutes of play, Lichten's Aureliusz Bienienda made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volodymyr Zelenskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilídio Malafaia was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Gertjan Lanphan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gertjan Lanphan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. In the 81st minute, Mickael Ceusters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Lanphan got free with Ilídio Malafaia in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lichten getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Octave Rijmenams hit a great ball. Pierre De Swert struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ilídio Malafaia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szuperbeton. The Szuperbeton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szuperbeton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
