The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sapitos were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lennert Hombroeckx's late challenge caught a RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennert Hombroeckx helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver got a freekick which was hit by Waud De Ketelaere. Sapitos's Lennert Hombroeckx got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Sapitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Van Kestbeek to maneuver through the defense. Reinard Vervaeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Henri-Patrick Roelandts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennert Hombroeckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri-Patrick Roelandts having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Reinard Vervaeck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henri-Patrick Roelandts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Sapitos's Lennert Hombroeckx in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Luukas Kest managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's supporters rose to their feet, but Luukas Kest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Bogdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Sapitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Primo to maneuver through the defense. Henri-Patrick Roelandts made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Reinard Vervaeck sent off a good shot on target. If Lennert Hombroeckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sapitos played a much better game than RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver and deserved their victory. The RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
