La Selección's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Robbrecht Colebinders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Simon Van Adorp. La Selección's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robbrecht Colebinders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbrecht Colebinders in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Simon Van Adorp saved La Selección from getting behind. Robbrecht Colebinders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Oyen in the 24th minute of play forced La Selección's goalkeeper Jan-Simon Van Adorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbrecht Colebinders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jan-Simon Van Adorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Simon Van Adorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Sovera in the 26th minute of the match. Camilo Sovera scored 0-5 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Simon Van Adorp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Camilo Sovera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jan-Simon Van Adorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in La Selección's zone, Matias Oyen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Simon Van Adorp came out of the goal and Matias Oyen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Matias Oyen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jan-Simon Van Adorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 0-8 became the score in the 47th minute when Robbrecht Colebinders elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Geetsvondel² were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ward Huytterhoeven was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Geetsvondel² getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guillaume Waeberghe hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Leo Wijnants shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominic Huyghens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matias Oyen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Simon Van Adorp came out and tried to block the shot, but Matias Oyen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 59th minute. If Robbrecht Colebinders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorn Rondas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominic Huyghens. Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan-Simon Van Adorp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Sovera in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Robbrecht Colebinders kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Simon Van Adorp. That made the score 0-11 in the 71 minute of play. Geetsvondel²'s Guillaume Waeberghe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorn Rondas in the 79 minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Matias Oyen made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Simon Van Adorp. La Selección's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. In the 84th minute Robbrecht Colebinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Simon Van Adorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Oyen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Jan-Simon Van Adorp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 86 minutes into the game, Matias Oyen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Jan-Simon Van Adorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the game, Robbrecht Colebinders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geetsvondel²'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Selección the free kick. The supporters of La Selección booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbrecht Colebinders didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geetsvondel²'s Robbrecht Colebinders in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Selección's goalie prevented a goal. Matty Vandenbosch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jan-Simon Van Adorp made a huge save. The La Selección fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Geetsvondel² were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
