Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Simon Van den Berghe got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Remco De kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herald Wouqier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Slegers in the 11th minute of the match. Camiel Coryn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Hofnagels in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of VC Winksele booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daan Roeckeloes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Jean Slegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camiel Coryn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunther Van Landewijck in the 27th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Franck De Keijser put in a rough tackle. In the 30th minute, Franck De Keijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s Toon Hofnagels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camiel Coryn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunther Van Landewijck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Camiel Coryn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daan Roeckeloes in the 39th minute of play forced VC Winksele's goalkeeper Camiel Coryn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, VC Winksele's Jean Slegers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Wouqier was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Geetsvondel² players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VC Winksele were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean Slegers to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Slegers took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herald Wouqier. Herald Wouqier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Herald Wouqier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean Slegers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as VC Winksele's Jean Slegers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herald Wouqier. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Slegers. In the 87th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Gyselinck to maneuver through the defense. Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Geetsvondel² from getting a goal against them. Casper Van Meerbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herald Wouqier having to interfere. The Geetsvondel² fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VC Winksele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
