The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dito da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Wigghers having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Pieter-Jan Buelens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Margi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Jan Buelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito da Cunha in the 16th minute of play forced AFC Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Rudi Wigghers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Dito da Cunha put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rudi Wigghers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito da Cunha in the 21st minute of play forced AFC Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Rudi Wigghers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanniek Wellens charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yanniek Wellens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Yanniek Wellens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dito da Cunha in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudi Wigghers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Rodolfo Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Margi's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudi Wigghers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Margi fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FC Margi's Dito da Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29thth minute of the game Dito da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Rudi Wigghers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Dito da Cunha made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Rudi Wigghers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dito da Cunha took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudi Wigghers. Rudi Wigghers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some careless play in the AFC Ajax Amsterdam defense, Gilliam Deckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudi Wigghers. The AFC Ajax Amsterdam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudi Wigghers should have stopped the shot. Rudi Wigghers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dito da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito da Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Dito da Cunha made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Rudi Wigghers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Ajax Amsterdam's zone, Rodolfo Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudi Wigghers came out of the goal and Rodolfo Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AFC Ajax Amsterdam booed when FC Margi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilliam Deckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudi Wigghers was a little too slow when Dito da Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-8. Rudi Wigghers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito da Cunha in the 63rd minute of the match. Rudi Wigghers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dito da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The FC Margi fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when FC Margi's Dito da Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. A.J. 张苞 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. 74 minutes into the game, FC Margi's Rodolfo Meira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudi Wigghers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. A hard shot 76 in the game by Dito da Cunha from a close distance when the talented Rudi Wigghers managed to make a qualified save. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Jan Buelens in the 78th minute of play forced AFC Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Rudi Wigghers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilliam Deckers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Dito da Cunha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Rudi Wigghers 83 minutes into the match. Dito da Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudi Wigghers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, FC Margi's Dito da Cunha made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudi Wigghers was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Margi's Rodolfo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dito da Cunha in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudi Wigghers saved AFC Ajax Amsterdam from getting behind. Rodolfo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
