Spectators: 8278 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximiliano Perez started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Maximiliano Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudi Wigghers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Kris Renotte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Van Leemput. Elite Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kris Renotte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Elite Red Devils's Geert-Jan De Wortelaer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rudi Wigghers but with some difficulty. After 11 minutes, Lennart Vincke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Ajax Amsterdam and the Elite Red Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elite Red Devils booed when AFC Ajax Amsterdam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Vincke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Perez in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rudi Wigghers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Renotte in the 16th minute of play forced Elite Red Devils's goalkeeper Ray Van Leemput to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Perez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudi Wigghers saved AFC Ajax Amsterdam from getting behind. After 21 minutes of play, Elite Red Devils's Christian Gudmundsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudi Wigghers was left in no man's land by his defense there! AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Rudi Wigghers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Perez in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax Amsterdam's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Gudmundsson came free, but Rudi Wigghers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudi Wigghers. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 34th match minute, AFC Ajax Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Van Meerbeec to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Christof Gielis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Maximiliano Perez scored to the left of an out of position Rudi Wigghers, making the score, 5-1. Cristo Deprez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Renotte to strike the kick off in the second half. Elite Red Devils's Christian Gudmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 53 minutes, Christian Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Gudmundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Vincke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ray Van Leemput tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elite Red Devils! In the 62nd minute of the game, AFC Ajax Amsterdam got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 66th match minute, AFC Ajax Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoor Gijsbrechts to maneuver through the defense. Christof Gielis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Wigghers having to interfere. Yanniek Wellens charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yanniek Wellens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rudi Wigghers came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite Red Devils's Maximiliano Perez. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Perez in the 93rd minute of play forced AFC Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Rudi Wigghers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
