Wils FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Lazcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Lazcano got free with Andreas Frans in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 12th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaan Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Koppen in the 19th minute of play. Kaan Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Koppen in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Koppen in the 24th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaan Snow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Koppen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Victorino Lazcano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andreas Frans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 36 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Frans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorino Lazcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Frans having to make a save. Andreas Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Lazcano in the 38th minute of play. Claus Van Dijck's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claus Van Dijck helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the match, Wils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Lazcano came free, but Andreas Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Lazcano to strike the kick off in the second half. Victorino Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 52 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Koppen. 54 minutes into the game, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaan Snow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 61st minute of play. Andreas Frans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Dráusio de Alcântara got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 80th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Frans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Victorino Lazcano scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Frans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Richy Van Boeckost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Andreas Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
