In the 30th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 33rd minute of play. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benard Ngamta in the 34th minute of play. Timy Verengen got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Grégoire Caamaño.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Huguet to make the kick off. The Wesselbend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Hemel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wesselbend fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC Koolkerke had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
