An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 5th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Robertinho Carabajal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio Di Muzio made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robertinho Carabajal however managed to control. After some careless play in the AFC Koolkerke defense, Barnaba Pilsudski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Steven. The AFC Koolkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Steven should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Ion Giurgiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robertinho Carabajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Smits, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half FC Gullegem were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Pilsudski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnaba Pilsudski took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Steven. Ulises Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 71st minute, one of FC Gullegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Gullegem. AFC Koolkerke's Clóvis Bittencourt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mats Vanooteghem in the 78 minute of the game. 79 minutes in the game Daevy Blaine did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alex Koit. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Waut Du Molin managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 0-3 in the 85th minute. Waut Du Molin hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Sellekaerts in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Axell Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes in the game Fabrizio Di Muzio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robertinho Carabajal. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Gullegem were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant AFC Koolkerke side.
