After 39 minutes of play, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jordy Steckens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Geerts came free, but Christof Deroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Johnathan Bowden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Bowden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natan Van De Gehuchte to make the kick off. With a little luck, Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek got control of the ball when Jakob Quinet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Johnathan Bowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas-Jan Quinet. A sloppy throw-in by Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Selebi-Phikwe's Erik Van Buyten. Selebi-Phikwe's attentive I Putu Okbo managed to snatch the ball when Timmy Simons made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Jordy Steckens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Circus BAF's Jakob Quinet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christof Deroek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. There was no doubt that Selebi-Phikwe were the better team. Selebi-Phikwe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
