Forza Heppenbach were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bryan Kant took the corner. 20 minutes into the game, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Almqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Karl-Michael Almqvist sped through FC Gullegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Axell Verduin. Ion Giurgiu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Giurgiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Kant in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kellbom came free, but Axell Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Almqvist made a kick off. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waut Du Molin in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Brent Desmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Kant in the 70th minute of the match. FC Gullegem made a substitution. Manuel Sellekaerts replaced Pierre-Paul Callaerts. Brent Desmet made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 俞岩寒. FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axell Verduin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Kant in the 84th minute. Karl-Michael Almqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Axell Verduin made a huge save. The supporters of Forza Heppenbach booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gullegem's Cederic De Vadder. But to his dismay, Cederic De Vadder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Gullegem were victorious despite being under pressure from Forza Heppenbach for much of the match.
