In the 8th minute KFC Welden were awarded a corner. Raf De Weijngaert went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Yanick Winnepennincx managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wouter Gijselinckx in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, KFC Welden's Gillis Degens got control of the ball when Ermis Vogiatzakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gillis Degens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Circus BAF's Amador Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Spoelberghe in the 18th minute of play. KFC Welden's attentive Wouter Gijselinckx managed to snatch the ball when Ronald Van Achteren made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute Ermis Vogiatzakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gillis Degens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanick Winnepennincx in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's Lautaro Martínez Gullotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gillis Degens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gillis Degens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gillis Degens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abubakar Al Abdullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gillis Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristen Spoelberghe in the 46th minute of play forced Circus BAF's goalkeeper Amador Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Gillis Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 51st minute of the match. Amador Paublo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kristen Spoelberghe sent off a good shot on target. Circus BAF's attentive Lander Justens managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Simon Musseeuw made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Amador Paublo got control of the ball when Kristen Spoelberghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Circus BAF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raf De Weijngaert ran over to the corner to take the kick. KFC Welden's Kristen Spoelberghe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amador Paublo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amador Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent De Vadder, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Circus BAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raf De Weijngaert was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Welden's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristen Spoelberghe got free with Amador Paublo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Circus BAF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KFC Welden for a fine match.
