Christian Kellbom was slow to take the kick. During this time Forza Heppenbach's players had a chance to rest. Forza Heppenbach's Christian Kellbom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony Vandenberge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Karl-Michael Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vandenberge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fre Schoovaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Stuijckens in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, RWDM's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kellbom came free, but Tony Vandenberge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Forza Heppenbach's Karl-Michael Almqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Vandenberge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Stuijckens in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Joachim Amerhauser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Lukas Stuijckens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Christian Kellbom made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Primitivo Taner. Karl-Michael Almqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. RWDM's Tony Vandenberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Taner in the 26th minute of play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennert Van der Vloedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Stuijckens in the 30th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Forza Heppenbach's corner Christian Kellbom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tony Vandenberge quite easily take care of the ball. Tony Vandenberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Maiorga in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Michael Almqvist was the one to do the kick off. If Lukas Stuijckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand De Beer in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Karl-Michael Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vandenberge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Stuijckens in the 65th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Brent Desmet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Heppenbach and the RWDM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Forza Heppenbach fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fre Schoovaerts in the 74th minute of play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert Van der Vloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Ritchie Kerkhofs put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hans-Joachim Amerhauser. Primitivo Taner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Stuijckens in the 97th minute of play. RWDM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
