Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnathan Bowden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After the first half Selebi-Phikwe were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nic Van Gestelt made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ivan Terhorst immediately put the ball in play. Christof Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Aparecido in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christof Deroek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Thielemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Aparecido came free, but Christof Deroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Selebi-Phikwe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Les Presidents FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
