The audience thought a goal was coming when Tran Vrolijcx got free with Atay Türegün in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when Eendracht Vooruit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balu De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ad Fundum's Manfred Bruse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atay Türegün but with some difficulty. Jarno Van Dyck was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Jarno Van Dyck. Eendracht Vooruit's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
