The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marciano Hendrickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Pieterjan Anteunis came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Zdraşcu made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Beek City's Heiko Sibon. Beek City's Arian Beqaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Sócrates in the 28th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Octav Zdraşcu with Unai Sócrates as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Sócrates in the 39th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when 董文鹰 came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arian Beqaj made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Unai Sócrates sent off a good shot on target. Yuri Portugal struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arian Beqaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 57th minute of play. Marciano Hendrickx kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Louis Ouaddou didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Arian Beqaj managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute Pieterjan Anteunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 董文鹰 in the 67th minute. Octav Zdraşcu had several of the Beek City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Arian Beqaj as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arian Beqaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieterjan Anteunis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Unai Sócrates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, 董文鹰 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Beek City's Heiko Sibon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arian Beqaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Portugal in the 81st minute of the match. Fauna Utd played a much better game than Beek City and deserved their victory. The Beek City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
