Vítor Baia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frederick Vereeken hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes North Hill United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaspar Van Den Broeck who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Goffrey Sas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 45th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Roşculeţ to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Guido Vissenaeken made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 68th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joos Teurfs came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe. But to his dismay, Arnauld Van Impe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. North Hill United's Joos Teurfs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save North Hill United from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tan came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goffrey Sas in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joos Teurfs saved North Hill United from getting behind. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Svanér, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Goffrey Sas came free, but Joos Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brugge United's Laurențiu Roşculeţ managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frederick Vereeken in the 89 minute of the game. Kęstutis Survila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
