Jahija Pavlić scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zelican Arsenović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Sainovci booed when Elpezi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernes Kadrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Suad Merlin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pašo Paravić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pašo Paravić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rehad Zovko , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pašo Paravić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirija Nedžadović, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vernes Kadrić during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 50th minute of the match Suad Merlin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pašo Paravić skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pirija Nedžadović made a kick off. Pirija Nedžadović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rehad Zovko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Pirija Nedžadović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pašo Paravić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpezi's Pašo Paravić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Elpezi from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Rehad Zovko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pašo Paravić came out and tried to block the shot, but Rehad Zovko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 100th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sainovci had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
