In the 18th match minute, Elpezi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jahija Pavlić to maneuver through the defense. Šemsudin Mirić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pašo Paravić. Elpezi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Faik Mustafić fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elpezi's protests and gave Faik Mustafić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elpezi getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Faik Mustafić hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes, Sokolovici FK's Šemsudin Mirić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pašo Paravić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After some careless play in the Elpezi defense, Zuhdija Duro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pašo Paravić. The Elpezi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pašo Paravić should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Sokolovici FK's Bahtijar Damirović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pašo Paravić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jahija Pavlić was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Zuhdija Duro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sokolovici FK's zone, Jahija Pavlić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milanko Prskalo came out of the goal and Jahija Pavlić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pašo Paravić made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zuhdija Duro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahtijar Damirović in the 65th minute of play forced Elpezi's goalkeeper Pašo Paravić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jahija Pavlić was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Elpezi getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jahija Pavlić hit a great ball. Pašo Paravić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahtijar Damirović in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Vernes Kadrić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahtijar Damirović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pašo Paravić having to interfere. Sokolovici FK's Bahtijar Damirović was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Zuhdija Duro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahtijar Damirović was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Sokolovici FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zuhdija Duro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pašo Paravić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Elpezi's goal looked a bit too open when Bahtijar Damirović came free, but Pašo Paravić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vernes Kadrić charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vernes Kadrić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toni Zaimović kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sokolovici FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
