In the 3rd minute Branko Smajlić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gabirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Sarajevo fc's goalkeeper Velibor Temelj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erol Veldinović. Erol Veldinović in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Velibor Temelj, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 8 minutes into the match, NK Duksi's goal looked a bit too open when Lale Rahmanović came free, but Delmar Gabirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Redžep Matko fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarajevo fc's protests and gave Redžep Matko a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Sarajevo fc got a freekick which was hit by Redžep Matko. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sanid Seradušić managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Duksi's supporters rose to their feet, but Sanid Seradušić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velibor Temelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huso Nasirović scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Velibor Temelj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th match minute, NK Duksi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Veldinović to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branko Smajlić in the 21st minute of the match. If Sanid Seradušić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, NK Duksi's Sanid Seradušić ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Velibor Temelj. Velibor Temelj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Sanid Seradušić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of NK Duksi booed when Sarajevo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Nesibović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velibor Temelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sanid Seradušić's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Sarajevo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Bedrudin Avdanović came free, but Velibor Temelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanid Seradušić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Velibor Temelj made a huge save. In the 43rdth minute of the game Bedrudin Avdanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarajevo fc's Velibor Temelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarajevo fc's goalkeeper Velibor Temelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Erol Veldinović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Duksi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erol Veldinović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Smajo Prodanović's late challenge caught a NK Duksi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Smajo Prodanović helped the player get up and apologised. Smajo Prodanović hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bego Hadžiomerović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Velibor Temelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanid Seradušić in the 56th minute of play. Hamza Nesibović hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Huso Nasirović struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Velibor Temelj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Duksi. In the 80th minute, Sanid Seradušić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK Duksi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sarajevo fc's zone, Huso Nasirović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velibor Temelj came out of the goal and Huso Nasirović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Sanid Seradušić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Duksi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sanid Seradušić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Sanid Seradušić sped through Sarajevo fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Velibor Temelj. 91 minutes into the match, Sarajevo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sanid Seradušić came free, but Velibor Temelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erol Veldinović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sanid Seradušić came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the NK Duksi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sanid Seradušić couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Huso Nasirović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Velibor Temelj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NK Duksi had played much better football throughout.
