When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Himzet Lukinović sped through Resanovac HRK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrej Hasić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Himzet Lukinović in the 10th minute of play forced Resanovac HRK's goalkeeper Andrej Hasić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrej Hasić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Himzet Lukinović in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Himzet Lukinović in the 15th minute of play forced Resanovac HRK's goalkeeper Andrej Hasić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Sarajevo City fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when FC Sarajevo City's Himzet Lukinović looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Himzet Lukinović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resanovac HRK's Andrej Hasić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Karol Joks made a precise shot to the right of Andrej Hasić. Resanovac HRK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 39th minute, Karol Joks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Sarajevo City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Andrej Hasić came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sarajevo City's Karol Joks. But to his dismay, Karol Joks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hase Zovko to make the kick off. FC Sarajevo City's Diego Aloisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hase Zovko in the 60th minute of play. The referee ignored Resanovac HRK's protests and gave Srebrenko Kenanović a yellow card for diving instead. FC Sarajevo City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
