A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Radomir Našidović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Advan Đuričić in the 7th minute of the match. Hodbina's Advan Đuričić got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Hodbina's Radomir Našidović threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Advan Đuričić, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Milorad Aldžić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hodbina's supporters rose to their feet, but Milorad Aldžić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Našidović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Hodbina's goal looked a bit too open when Boriša Lihovac came free, but Šahin Damirović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dzerici getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cine Ganibović hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Dzerici got a freekick which was hit by Cine Ganibović. The supporters of Hodbina booed when Dzerici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sejdo Filipović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Milorad Aldžić notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dzerici's Radomir Našidović. Radomir Našidović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Agibović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Šahin Damirović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Hodbina got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Miralemović. In the 41st minute of the match Dzerici got a corner. Hodbina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blažko Demić ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dzerici's Blažko Demić to fire away a dangerous shot which Šahin Damirović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 43 played minutes Dzerici got a freekick which was hit by Cine Ganibović. Šahin Damirović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boriša Lihovac went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Stefan Agibović put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Šahin Damirović. Stefan Agibović struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Šahin Damirović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dzerici. In the 61st minute, Rizo Gajić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hodbina getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ferik Čorić hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Blažko Demić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Šahin Damirović showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hodbina's Šahin Damirović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boriša Lihovac in the 65th minute of play. Stefan Agibović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hodbina's Vehid Hamdić got a free kick in the 71st minute. Stefan Agibović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šahin Damirović having to interfere. A hard shot 82 in the game by Stefan Agibović from a close distance when the talented Šahin Damirović managed to make a qualified save. Hodbina's players were relieved. Šahin Damirović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boriša Lihovac, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Boriša Lihovac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Šahin Damirović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Cine Ganibović hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Dzerici got a freekick which was hit by Vlado Buljubašić. In the 95th minute, Vlado Buljubašić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Vehid Hamdić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radomir Našidović skillfully saved the ball. Šahin Damirović didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 99th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dzerici walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
