The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FK Doktor u Sahu's supporters rose to their feet, but Šemsudin Zikrić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Našidović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes in the game, Semjon Martinović dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Stefan Agibović was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Dzerici's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Blažko Demić hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, FK Doktor u Sahu's Franciszek Degutis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radomir Našidović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Doktor u Sahu reached it. Cine Ganibović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Boleslaw Lewandowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boleslaw Lewandowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Agibović in the 21st minute. When Franciszek Degutis fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When Boriša Lihovac came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Dzerici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boriša Lihovac couldn't finish the play. Cine Ganibović's late challenge caught a FK Doktor u Sahu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cine Ganibović helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dzerici's Cine Ganibović got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Dzerici's goal looked a bit too open when Semjon Martinović came free, but Radomir Našidović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boleslaw Lewandowski was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Boriša Lihovac capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boriša Lihovac really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to FK Doktor u Sahu getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Semjon Martinović hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Boleslaw Lewandowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boriša Lihovac in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FK Doktor u Sahu's Vekoslav Aldžić got a free kick in the 85th minute. Šemsudin Zikrić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FK Doktor u Sahu's Šemsudin Zikrić in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
