Ilderin Halimović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to NK ORAHOVICA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tony Bešimović hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, NK ORAHOVICA's goalkeeper Zvonimir Petranović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Mandela. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nelson Mandela sped through NK ORAHOVICA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zvonimir Petranović. An unexpectedly hard shot by Živomir Gudelj in the 16th minute of play forced FK Željezničar's goalkeeper Grigoris Koufakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvonimir Petranović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Mandela in the 26th minute of play. Zvonimir Petranović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Mandela, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Zvonimir Petranović came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Željezničar's Nelson Mandela. But to his dismay, Nelson Mandela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 32nd match minute, FK Željezničar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilderin Halimović to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in NK ORAHOVICA's zone, Nelson Mandela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvonimir Petranović came out of the goal and Nelson Mandela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zvonimir Petranović was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Nelson Mandela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nelson Mandela really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Zvonimir Petranović was a little too slow when Adi Jusufović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 43rdth minute of the game Adi Jusufović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK ORAHOVICA's Zvonimir Petranović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nelson Mandela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zvonimir Petranović was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Nelson Mandela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zvonimir Petranović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krzysztof Gdowski made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in NK ORAHOVICA's zone, Ilderin Halimović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvonimir Petranović came out of the goal and Ilderin Halimović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Nelson Mandela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvonimir Petranović. NK ORAHOVICA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelson Mandela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 60th minute, Dražen Džemalović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, FK Željezničar's Šemsudin Kamber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zvonimir Petranović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Željezničar reached it. In the 61st minute, Krzysztof Gdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Željezničar made a substitution. Nikola Bogdanović replaced Kaid Šuman. Krzysztof Gdowski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Nelson Mandela scored 7-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvonimir Petranović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nikola Bogdanović came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FK Željezničar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Bogdanović couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Nelson Mandela notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of NK ORAHOVICA's Zvonimir Petranović. Zvonimir Petranović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Dražen Džemalović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Mandela struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Zvonimir Petranović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Željezničar. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Nelson Mandela sped through NK ORAHOVICA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zvonimir Petranović. 95 minutes into the game, Dražen Džemalović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK ORAHOVICA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Željezničar the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in NK ORAHOVICA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty!
