Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Câmara in the 12th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Câmara, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cassiano Mendonça was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Telmo Teves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cassiano Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes GD Fiães got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Calado. GD Fiães made a substitution. Adão Anjos replaced Maurício Câmara. Severiano Calado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Vörös Henrik hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, GD Fiães's Adão Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Brites in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, GD Fiães's Cassiano Mendonça got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Campelo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when GD Fiães was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, GD Fiães could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
