Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Holger Gerolstein took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Sohlmann got free with Peter Schoppitsch in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Sohlmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schoppitsch having to interfere. Elmar Dersewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tino Veiser hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Gerolstein in the 15th minute of play forced AC MILAN's goalkeeper Jost Mörz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Gerolstein in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jost Mörz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, Timo Breitenstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC MILAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenstein the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC MILAN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jan Sohlmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MILAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Sohlmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Schoppitsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Andreas Baumann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jost Mörz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Elmar Dersewski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AC MILAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmar Dersewski couldn't finish the play. Tino Veiser hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jan Sohlmanns short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Peter Schoppitsch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andreas Baumann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Elmar Dersewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MILAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Dersewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Schoppitsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Falkenstein's Tino Veiser got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmar Dersewski was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jan Sohlmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MILAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Sohlmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Falkenstein's goalkeeper Peter Schoppitsch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, AC MILAN's Jost Mörz got control of the ball when Andreas Baumann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Klaus Bade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC MILAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenstein the free kick. Klaus Bade hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jan Sohlmann scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Schoppitsch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Holger Gerolstein came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Falkenstein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Gerolstein couldn't finish the play. Elmar Dersewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schoppitsch having to interfere. If Jan Sohlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmar Dersewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Peter Schoppitsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Sohlmann in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Schoppitsch saved Falkenstein from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tino Veiser during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Tino Veiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Falkenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Sohlmann came free, but Peter Schoppitsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Falkenstein were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant AC MILAN side.
