Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 12) Sussfeld's Henk Kannen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fabian Jensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sussfeld booed when Katzendor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Andres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Henk Kannen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Igelmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hannes Spreitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Degner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Sussfeld got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Zielinski. If Fabian Jensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henk Kannen took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Igelmann. Adrian Igelmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 23rdth minute of the game Henk Kannen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katzendor's Adrian Igelmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henk Kannen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Igelmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Oehrke during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Sussfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Oehrke to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Tim-Florian Brill suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Adrian Eichelkraut charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Eichelkraut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Eric Schrenk looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Hannes Spreitzer. Adrian Igelmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Kannen in the 39th minute of the match. Sebastian Degner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hannes Spreitzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Jensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Sussfeld were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Degner made a kick off. Sascha Schütz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Spreitzer having to interfere. Sebastian Degner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hannes Spreitzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Igelmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Jensen in the 59th minute. If Fabian Jensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute.
