Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 12) Katzendor's Sebastian Degner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Katzendor's Nicolas Luchtenberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. The corner led Edelsgrub's Eugen Pöck to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrian Igelmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sebastian Degner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maximilian-Michael Lack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Katzendor's zone, Sven Schmitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Igelmann came out of the goal and Sven Schmitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Ketzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Adrian Igelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Marschall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Sven Schmitt made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Igelmann. Katzendor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 33 minutes into the game, Jonas-Marius Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katzendor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edelsgrub the free kick. The supporters of Edelsgrub booed when Katzendor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas-Marius Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Nicolas Luchtenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Degner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian-Michael Lack was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Marschall to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Katzendor's goalkeeper Adrian Igelmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Schmitt. Sven Schmitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Igelmann having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Sven Schmitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edelsgrub's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Schmitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Igelmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marc Van de Logt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Andreas Marschall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Sebastian Degner made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Edelsgrub's Maximilian-Michael Lack tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute of the match Eugen Pöck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Igelmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Andreas Marschall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Igelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian-Michael Lack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Florian Brill in the 97th minute of play. Katzendor succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Edelsgrub had controlled the match.
