The Purworth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 17 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Gillessen came free, but Hans-Hermann Lautsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Ben Gillessen made the kick off in the second half. Julius Herzog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Kebeis having to interfere. Hans-Hermann Lautsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Gillessen in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Tião Mendes. 77 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Hans-Hermann Lautsch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Grützmann.
