To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Vorholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Zillen came free, but Eduard Huber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximilian-Michael Wannemacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sönke Louven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Dober having to interfere. Vorholz FC's Sönke Louven got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Koglen's goalkeeper Florian Dober, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sönke Louven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florian Dober. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koglen's goalkeeper Florian Dober, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uwe Hecker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Sönke Louven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Florian Dober was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregor Winand struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Florian Dober didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vorholz FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uwe Hecker in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Dober prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Gregor Winand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sönke Louven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vorholz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sönke Louven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Dorneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koglen's Florian Dober played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sönke Louven in the 76th minute of play. Gregor Winand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Florian Dober tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilian-Michael Wannemacher kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Gregor Winand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Elmar Gehlen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vorholz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmar Gehlen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uwe Hecker in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Dober saved Koglen from getting behind.
