Niederau's Bernhard Setzinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Mittner in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Höfner in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernhard Setzinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Mittner in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernhard Setzinger saved Niederau from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nürenberg in the 20th minute of play forced Aumuhl FC's goalkeeper Kurt Faerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Chris Nürenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Faerber. Aumuhl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nürenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sven-Philipp Goc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Aumuhl FC defense, Volkmar Henning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Faerber. The Aumuhl FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Faerber should have stopped the shot. Boris Berens scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernhard Setzinger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Sandro Kroha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernhard Setzinger, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Niederau's Sven-Philipp Goc got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Christopher Mittner came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Aumuhl FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Mittner couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Mittner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Aumuhl FC's David Höfner made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernhard Setzinger was left in no man's land by his defense there! If David Höfner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Setzinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Höfner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Christopher Mittner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernhard Setzinger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 66th minute Sandro Kroha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Setzinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Berens in the 68th minute of play forced Niederau's goalkeeper Bernhard Setzinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Kroha took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernhard Setzinger. Bernhard Setzinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 76th minute Jürgen Unterberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Setzinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Nico Bassen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niederau and the Aumuhl FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Höfner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernhard Setzinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Aumuhl FC were the better team. Aumuhl FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
