Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philipp Graf started the match with the kick off. Alexander Jucknischke hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC United Socks getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Kevin Arnold hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Roland Ballik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonas Knabel kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, SG Eintracht Frankfurt's Roland Ballik threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philipp Graf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15th minute Philipp Graf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Ballik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Ballik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Graf in the 17th minute of the match. Philipp Graf struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Roland Ballik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Eintracht Frankfurt. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Philipp Graf took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roland Ballik to make any attempt to save it. Marko Henze kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. SG Eintracht Frankfurt's Julien-Nils Weibler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Arnold in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC United Socks's Tim-Florian Patschinski got a free kick in the 32nd minute. FC United Socks's Roland Ballik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC United Socks from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Roland Ballik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to FC United Socks getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jörg Braun hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Marko Henze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Ballik. Marko Henze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Knabel to make the kick off. Roland Ballik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Graf in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, SG Eintracht Frankfurt's Philipp Graf made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Ballik was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Daniels in the 63rd minute of play forced FC United Socks's goalkeeper Roland Ballik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Dennis Daniels notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of FC United Socks's Roland Ballik. Roland Ballik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Patric Hesseling threw the ball into play from the sideline. SG Eintracht Frankfurt's Marko Henze quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Roland Ballik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Daniels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Ballik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Daniels went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Marko Henze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Philipp Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Dennis Daniels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jonas Knabel fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC United Socks's protests and gave Jonas Knabel a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Knabel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Marko Henze with Jonas Almer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
