Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Per-Otto Melischko got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Per-Otto Melischko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-André Grasser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Greifenegger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffen-Julian Wache kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Kugelberg FSV getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Robin Ahlen hit a great ball. Per-Otto Melischko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Grasser having to interfere. Per-Otto Melischko struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marc-André Grasser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAKARYA. If Frank Greifenegger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Otto Melischko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marc-André Grasser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Kugelberg FSV got a freekick which was hit by Robin Ahlen. SAKARYA's Per-Otto Melischko got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc-André Grasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Greifenegger in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of SAKARYA booed when Kugelberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Dreher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steffen Neuss during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marc-André Grasser came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SAKARYA's Per-Otto Melischko. But to his dismay, Per-Otto Melischko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marvin Thomanek to strike the kick off in the second half. Marvin Thomanek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, SAKARYA's Frank Greifenegger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc-André Grasser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marc-André Grasser didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in SAKARYA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! If Meikel Spieler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascal Ellhof came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Kugelberg FSV's Marvin Thomanek. But to his dismay, Marvin Thomanek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 95th match minute, Kugelberg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Petzel to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Boris Knebel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SAKARYA played a much better game than Kugelberg FSV and deserved their victory. The Kugelberg FSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
