Ssc Großgmain's Simon Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolai Ramusch in the 25th minute of play. Boris Mölleken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Leon Gehre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karl-Heinz Karhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Niclas Jurk came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Altaist FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Jurk couldn't finish the play. Niclas Jurk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Meyer having to interfere. If Boris Mölleken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ssc Großgmain booed when Altaist FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Pierron didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Niclas Jurk came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Altaist FSV fans jumped to their feet. Bastian Lowe's late challenge caught a Altaist FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastian Lowe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ssc Großgmain's Bastian Lowe got a free kick in the 46th minute. Nicolai Ramusch struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Simon Meyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altaist FSV.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Mölleken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Björn Gutmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Meyer skillfully saved the ball. Nicolai Ramusch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Simon Meyer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Dennis Schaub sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Altaist FSV's Leon Gehre didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Boris Mölleken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ssc Großgmain's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Mölleken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Gehre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boris Mölleken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
