With a left leg Uwe Schlagbauer saved Eisenzicken FSV from getting behind. After some careless play in the Eisenzicken FSV defense, Tom-Lukas Bogner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uwe Schlagbauer. The Eisenzicken FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uwe Schlagbauer should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, Tom-Lukas Bogner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tom-Lukas Bogner in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uwe Schlagbauer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes Eisenzicken FSV got a freekick which was hit by Julius Sanger. A collision led to Eisenzicken FSV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Julius Sanger hit a great ball. Sven Kirchmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Kölzig, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Kaltwasser FSV's Sascha Rau got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mark Pankotsch made a great header on Eisenzicken FSV's corner, it was just that Kaltwasser FSV's Sven Kirchmann managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Kaltwasser FSV defense, Jens Kölzig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Kirchmann. The Kaltwasser FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Kirchmann should have stopped the shot. Tom-Lukas Bogner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Uwe Schlagbauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf de Kok was the one to do the kick off.
