The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolf Weigelt got free with David Wittbusch in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregor Broich in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Wittbusch saved IG Steak am Lagerfeuer from getting behind. Rolf Weigelt struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. David Wittbusch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liedtberg FC. If Robert Traintinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rouven Jankowsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Wittbusch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Broich in the 25th minute of the match. IG Steak am Lagerfeuer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gregor Broich 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Gregor Broich dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Wittbusch, 2-0. IG Steak am Lagerfeuer's David Wittbusch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Broich in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Nicholas Neubrandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rouven Jankowsky managed to get in a good position for a shot. IG Steak am Lagerfeuer's supporters rose to their feet, but Rouven Jankowsky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Schultheiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rouven Jankowsky made a kick off. Tobias Hansen tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Marco Schultheiss. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. Rouven Jankowsky was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. IG Steak am Lagerfeuer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 57 minutes into the match, Rouven Jankowsky dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Schultheiss, 2-2. The supporters of Liedtberg FC booed when IG Steak am Lagerfeuer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Muller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Weigelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregor Broich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Wittbusch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Weigelt went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Robert Traintinger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gregor Broich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes IG Steak am Lagerfeuer got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Sandkühler. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
