Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stolzl's Stefan Pierron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Achim Köhncke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timm Fiedler's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Achim Köhncke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timm Fiedler in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Kongress SK booed when Stolzl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Krützkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Stolzl got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Krützkamp. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Till-Julius Kiefer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kongress SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Till-Julius Kiefer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achim Köhncke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Pierron during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stolzl's Stefan Pierron got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tobias Wendt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Peter Belger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Stolzl got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Krützkamp. Alexander Wittrock kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Till-Julius Kiefer in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Stolzl getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rick Ibertsberger hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Till-Julius Kiefer put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Achim Köhncke. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timm Fiedler made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Yanick Breitenbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Till-Julius Kiefer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Pierron might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Belger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Pierron ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Yanick Breitenbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Belger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Timm Fiedler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Achim Köhncke. That made the score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kongress SK's Timm Fiedler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Achim Köhncke. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Stefan Pierron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rick Ibertsberger's late challenge caught a Kongress SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rick Ibertsberger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stolzl getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rick Ibertsberger hit a great ball. When Kongress SK's Timm Fiedler in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stolzl's goalie prevented a goal. If Tobias Wendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kongress SK's goalkeeper Peter Belger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
