FC Birnbaum's Marco Zimmermann got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Jetzendorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Böhm. If Rolf Böhm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Felix Kopinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Böhm, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Marco Zimmermann notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jetzendorf FC's Sebastian Könemann. Sebastian Könemann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Birnbaum getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bastian Wintergerst hit a great ball. Jan-Felix Kopinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Böhm went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eugen Max hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Marco Zimmermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Könemann having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justin Langhammer to make the kick off. Philipp Hassenrück received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Könemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ralf-Willy Korsikowski fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jetzendorf FC's protests and gave Ralf-Willy Korsikowski a yellow card for diving instead. Ralf-Willy Korsikowski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. FC Birnbaum's Florian Arndt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jetzendorf FC. Marco Zimmermann struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Könemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Birnbaum. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Marco Zimmermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Birnbaum's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Zimmermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Könemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philipp Hassenrück sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Zimmermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sebastian Könemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ralf-Willy Korsikowski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Marco Zimmermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sebastian Könemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Marco Zimmermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Könemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, FC Birnbaum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that FC Birnbaum were the better team. FC Birnbaum's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
